Short Biography.
The Vein were born in Évora (Portugal). Their sound rose out of the ashes of gothic rock with a new expression and gave it a new breath. Cláudio T. on the vocals, Susi on the cello, Eddy Slap on the bass and P.C. on the drums bring The Vein alive. A fresh new sound with an agressive/melancholic cello always floating over the guitars. The low tunes vocals appeal to a reinvented Peter Murphy/Holly Johnson/James Heathfield mix. "Under The Circumstance" was the first work produced by J. Cágado. All its songs made part of several national and international compilations, opening the door for many venal live concerts. In the beginning of 1999 The Vein finish the recordings of "Hormony", with a new and introspective proposal.
